Shalom,
These are events from the St. George Interfaith Council:
Faith & Blue: Events to bring the community and the police together from the St. George and Washington Police Departments, October 5-9. Also, Lt. Berquist from St. George informed the faith community that if they would like an officer to visit during their service to contact him: aaronbergquist@sgcity.org. The visiting officers visiting would like to introduce themselves to our congregations. Call Tiffany Mitchell from St. George Police Dept.
Constitution Day is Sunday, September 17th. At 1pm church bells will ring because this is the day and time of the signing of the Constitution.
Interfaith Choir: Instead of an Interfaith Thanksgiving concert, on November 15th “Simple Gifts” Music to enjoy and be thankful will be offered. I will give you time and place later.
Interfaith Harmony Day Concert and Celebration will be February 17th, 2024 at Crimson Cliffs High School 7pm -8pm.
Mobile Food Box distribution at Grace Episcopal is now the 2nd and last Fridays from 10-noon. Volunteers needed. People in need of food should be notified. If volunteering, arrive at 9:30am. I used to volunteer there.
Todah Rabah/Thank you,
Rabbi Helene Ainbinder
