Tashlich

Tashlich comes from the Hebrew word meaning “to cast,” referring to the intent to cast away our sins via this meaningful and ancient Jewish custom common to both Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities. Come join us at Fire Lake Park in Ivins.  We recite the prayers while “casting off” our sins, represented by breadcrumbs, into the water. We read in Micah: “You shall cast (Tashlich) all your sins into the depths of the sea” (7:19).
